A Sour Dame

Ok, so I was asked by to create a villainous rival for my KotF character for a story he's doing. That character'd be this one. It kinda started as some sketches, but now it's more like concept art. Took me a while to really conceptualize something. It seemed like there's no candy people in KotF, so I was like fuck it, it'll be a candy person. Anywho, I said I'd make a bio and a back sotry for the character detailing her relationship with Neverthrive, so I'll get to that now.

Name: Allison Stringent (Allison meaning "of nobility." Stringent meaning strict. "A. Stringent" being a play on the word "astringent," which is a synonym for sour. Candy woman, crimelord and huge bitch. Pallete based on sour candies.)

Born into the aristocracy of the Candy Kingdom (or candy republic? Has that changed, or what?), and spoiled rotten shortly there after. Allison has no compassion nor respect for anyone deemed "bellow her," which from her perspective, is everyone. During her adolescence, a suspicious tragedy befell her parents, leaving all their vast wealth to their daughter and sole heir. Details remain unkown about the Stringents' demise, speculation points to foul play, common sense leads to an obvious suspect. With her family's fortune now in her conroll, Allison immediately pulled a chunk of change from her pocket, and filled them with the city guard in return. After the corruption of her surrounding authority, the young "entrepreneur" had little difficulty putting the squeeze on the seedy criminal enterprises, placing herself at the top of the city's underworld. No crime was committed within the candy walls without her knowledge, nor without forefitting a cut of the profits to her.

During his travels pre-knighthood, Neverthrive heard tell of the sugary eutopia slowly declining into chaos, crime running rampid and the public decay of morality. Feeling as though he could help, the wonderer ventured to the Candy Kingdom (Republic?) in hopes of quelling some criminal business. After thwarting a few robberies and a handful of muggings, news of Neverthrive's deeds made their way up the rungs of the underworld all the way to Maddam Stringent. She was not pleased. For his efforts, Neverthrive was thrown out of the city by the crooked guards, and banished on counts of vigilantism, assault and wreckless endangerment.

After not very cleverly sneaking his way back into the city limits, the "vigilante" gave his patronage to some of the more grimey taverns. Asking, and the occasional intimidation, of the scuzzy bar goers the word around town eventually gave him some leads. Finally, his path led to a thief who grew tired of Stringent's exploitation of the work of common street thugs, and fingered out the lynchpin to the curious, axewielding man. Neverthrive, not being the most cunning, decided the best course of action would be confronting Allsion directly. Of course, the sour dame was never unprotected, and surrounded herself with an enterage of brutish mercs and candy guards. The confrontation led to a brawl, shedding blood and syrup from both sides, and ended with Neverthrive wounded, battered, but still standing. Unfortunately, the first beatdown was just an apetizer. For the main course, Stringent bested the vigilante in direct combat and for desert, had her guards throw him in the dungeon for a week. After serving his sentence, Neverthrive was banished for a second time, on added counts of abstruction of justice, and attempted murder. Neverthrive's had numerous run-ins with the sour dame since that event, each time the victor varying, but never ending with Stringent's capture.

Also, since I've tied every KotF related thing into my views of fanfiction, she's sort of the embodiment of a dastardized Princess Bubblegum. I usually dislike PB being villanized, so thus, in a round about way, that idea's become my adversary. Everything makes sense when you don't think about it.
